City Firefighters continued to stay busy overnight with a Residential Structure Fire at 53 Wyoming Street. Just before 1am units arrived with a working fire and F6 requested the second alarm. 2 lines were stretched and the fire was quickly brought under control.

City units having a busy day today during the heat.
At shift change this morning Engine 1 responded to a working fire on Payne Ave in Kingston Boro. Initially they were assigned as RIT, but upon arrival WBFD crews assisted first due units with removal of a victim from the second floor of the residence.
This afternoon Group 3 handled a second floor fire in a residence at 317 New Hancock Street in the city. Engine 2 arrived first with fire through a second floor bedroom window. 2 lines were placed into operation to quickly control the fire.
Not only did your firefighter’s handle 2 jobs, they’ve handled multiple EMS calls, alarms, and other calls throughout the city.
